Indicators

NinjaTrader's Advanced Charting includes more than 100 system indicators and it allows you to develop you own custom indicators using NinjaScript. In addition, the platform also includes one of the industry's largest library of third party indicators. The charting indicators can be used as input for other indicators and you can set user default settings for each indicator.

Indicator Settings - Customization

You can customize your indicators by plot style (bar, block, cross, dash, dot, hline, line, square, and triangles), plot color and width, plot displacement, labels, price marker visibility, and you can display the values in the data box and calculate per bar or per tick.

Drawing Tool Features

With the drawing tools you can utilize the multiple snap modes, stay-in-draw mode, ruler, and lock. The platform allows you to set your own default settings or if you prefer you can use the Fibonacci templates, Fibonacci Retracements, and the Global Draw Objects.

Close Charting Features

The backtesting included with the NinjaTrader platform offers major speed improvements over the competition, multi-core optimization engine, brute force optimization, genetic optimization and walk-forward optimization. You can optimize on more than twenty metrics or on DataSeries (for example: 1 Minutes through 60 Minute Bars). This feature also includes basket testing, combined result basket testing, conservative or liberal fill algorithm, and comprehensive strategy performance reporting. The Monte Carlo Analysis feature includes multiple graph options, filter outliers as percent, and a user-defined number of simulations and trades per simulation.
