You may fund your account in three different ways: Account Transfers, Check or Wire. Regardless of the method of funding you choose, please keep in mind that we do not accept third party funds. The originator of the funds must always be the name or names listed as the account owner. Please make sure your account is open prior to funding. It is against our regulations to keep unapplied funds and we will return to you any third party funds, money orders or starter checks. Please note: We DO NOT accept ACH checks/wires, except for select US Corporate accounts---ask us for details. To view your funding instructions, choose the appropriate funding type and/or monetary denomination from the list below. If you are funding your trading account from a joint bank account, please fax a copy of your most recent bank statement to our Treasury Department at 1-818-996-0401 or email a scanned copy to Treasury@GlobalFutures.com. Account TransfersYou may also fund your account through an Account Transfer. This allows you to pull funds from one futures trading account and deposit them into another. U.S. Funding Instructions - CheckYou may fund your account using personal checks from accounts that match the name of the account holder. Although it is not encouraged, a cashier check or bank draft that includes the remitter's name may be acceptable, only if a bank statement is provided that shows that transaction coming out of a bank account in the name of the customer. Cashier's checks are considered cleared funds and you may begin to trade your account as soon as funds are posted to your account. Please note: We DO NOT accept ACH checks, except for select US corporate accounts---ask us for details. We also do not accept ACH wires, except for select US corporate accounts---ask us for details. There is no charge for incoming wires. However, your bank may have additional fees, such as a "handling fee". Please be aware that intermediary banks may charge an additional fee for processing wires. To inquire about these charges, please contact your bank(s) directly. Your bank may charge a fee for returned wires. We do not accept funds from numbered accounts.
